TINGKAT PEMAHAMAN PEMBUATAN POLA BERBASIS CAD PADA MATA PELAJARAN BUSANA INDUSTRI SISWA KELAS XI TATA BUSANA SMK NEGERI 6 YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk; 1) mengetahui tingkat pemahaman konsep translasi; 2) mengetahui tingkat pemahaman konsep interpretasi; 3) mengetahui tingkat pemahaman konsep ekstrapolasi, materi pembuatan pola digital berbasis CADsiswa kelas XI jurusan Tata Busana SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta. Penelitian menggunakna metode deskriptif kuantitatif.Populasi penelitian berjumlah 91 siswa dengan 15 siswa sampel uji skala kecil dan 76 siswa merupakan sample data skala besar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tes kepandaian.Jumlah butir instrumen tes adalah 45 butir.Pembuktian validitas menggunakanvaliditas konstruk dengan pencapaian r-hitung >0.300.Pembuktian reliabilitas digunakan rumus Alfa Cronbach dengan hasil sebesar 0.905. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; 1) pemahaman tahap translasi terhadap pembuatan pola digital berbasis CAD masuk dalam kategori sedang; 2) pemahaman tahap interpretasi terhadap pembuatan pola digital berbasis CAD masukdalam kategori sedang; 3) pemahaman tahap ekstrapolasi terhadap pembuatan pola digital berbasis CAD masuk dalam kategori sedang.

LEVELS OF COMPREHENSION OF CAD-BASED PATTERN MAKING IN THE INDUSTRIAL FASHION SUBJECT AMONG GRADE XI STUDENTS OF FASHION DESIGN OF PUBLIC VHS 6 OF YOGYAKARTA

This study aims to investigate: 1) the level of comprehension of the translation concept, 2) the level of comprehension of the interpretation concept, and 3) the level of comprehension of the extrapolation concept in CAD-based digital pattern making among Grade XI students of the Fashion Design Department of Public VHS 6 of Yogyakarta. The study on the levels of comprehension employed the quantitative descriptive research method. The research population comprised Grade XI students of Fashion Design of Public VHS 6 of Yogyakarta with a total of 91 students with a sample of 15 students for the small-scale tryout and 76 students for the large-scale tryout. The data were collected using an online questionnaire and a cognitive test. The test consisted of 45 true-false items. The research instrument validity was assessed in terms of the construct validity with robserved > 0.300. The reliability was assessed by Cronbach’s Alpha formula with a coefficient of 0.905 showing that the instrument was reliable. The results of the study are as follows. 1) The comprehension of the translation stage in CAD-based digital pattern making is in the medium category. 2) The comprehension of the interpretation stage in CAD-based digital pattern making is in the medium category. 3) The comprehension of the extrapolation stage in CAD-based digital pattern making is in the medium category.
