PENGARUH METODE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA DI SMK N 3 KLATEN THE EFFECT OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING METHOD ON THE CRITICAL THINGKING SKILLS STUDENT AT SMK N 3 KLATEN.

Abstract


Tujuan penelitian ini dirancang untuk mengetahui : 1) kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum menggunakan metode problem based learning 2) kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah menggunakan metode problem based learning 3) Pengaruh metode problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan pendekatan quasi eksperiment. Desain penelitian menggunakan randomized posttest only control Design. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kemampuan berpikir siswa sebelum menggunakan metode problem based learning yaitu 15 siswa (46.9%) kategori baik, 17 siswa (53.1%) kategori cukup dan 0 (0%) kategori kurang, 2) kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah menggunakan metode problem based learning yaitu 32 siswa (100%) kategori baik, 0 siswa (0%) kategori cukup, 3) ada pengaruh penggunaan metode problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil perhitungan uji-t diperoleh -
kurang dari-
(-8,913 <- 1.69 ) dan taraf signifikansi lebih kecil (0,00< 0,05).

This study aimed to investigate: 1) critical thinking skills of students before using the problem based learning method 2) critical thinking skills of students after using the problem based learning method 3) The effect of the problem based learning method on students' critical thinking skills. This experimental study used the quasi experiment approach. The study design used randomized posttest only control design. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and t-test. The results showed that: 1) the thinking ability of students before using the problem based learning method was 15 students (46.9%) in the good category, 17 students (53.1%) in the sufficient category and 0 (0%) in the poor category, 2) the critical thinking skills of students after the method of problem based learning is 32 students (100%) good categories, 0 students (0%) enough categories, 3) there is influence of use problem based learning method on students' critical thinking abilities. The results of the t-test calculation were obtained - less than- (-8.913 <- 1.69) and the significance level was smaller (0.00 <0.05).
