PENGEMBANGAN MODUL MACAM-MACAM BELAHAN MATA PELAJARAN DASAR TEKNOLOGI MENJAHIT DI SMK NEGERI 4 YOGYAKARTA

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan modul macam-macam belahan mata pelajaran
Dasar Teknologi Menjahit di SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta, 2) Mengetahui kelayakan modul macam-macam
belahan mata pelajaran Dasar Teknologi Menjahit di SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta Jenis penelitian ini
Research and Development (R&D) yang menggunakan model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang
disederhanakan oleh Tim Puslitjaknov menjadi 5 tahapan, yaitu 1) analisis kebutuhan produk yang akan
dikembangkan, 2) mengembangkan produk awal, 3) validasi dan revisi, 4) uji coba kelompok kecil, 5) uji
coba kelompok besar dan produk akhir.  Subjek penelitan adalah siswa kelas XI Tata Busana sejumlah 32
siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan; observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Teknik analisis data
yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis statistic deskriptif. Hasil Penelitian
menunjukkan: kelayakan modul macam-macam belahan yang dilakukan dengan uji coba kelompok besar
kepada siswa yang berjumlah 32 diperoleh rata-rata skor 111.38, dan termasuk dalam kategori hasil sangat
baik, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa modul macam-macam belahan sudah memenuhi aspek fungsi dan
manfaat modul, elemen mutu modul, karakteristik modul, materi macam-macam belahan, dan aspek
kualitas materi, sehingga modul dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada kompetensi dasar
macam-macam belahan pada mata pelajaran dasar teknologi menjahit di SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta..

ABSTRACT
 
This study aimed to: 1) develop a moduIe of types of openings in the subject of Basics of Sewing
Technology in SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. and 2) investigate the appropriateness of the developed modul.
This was a research and development (R & D) study using Borg and Gall's development model simplified
by a team at the Center for Policy and Innovation Studies into 5 stages. namely: 1) needs analysis of the
product to be developed. 2) preliminary product development, 3) validation and revision. 4) a small group
tryout, and 5) a large group tryout and final product. The small group tryout was conducted by invoIving
10 students and the large group tryout was conducted by invoIving 32 students. The data were collected
through observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The validity was assessed in terms of content and
construct validity. The reliability was the internal reliabiIity assessed by Cronbach's Alpha formula. The
data were analyzed by descriptive statistics The module appropriateness was assessed through a large
scale test. obtaining a mean score of 111.38, which was very good; this showed that the module of types of
openings fulfilled the function and benefit aspects of the module, elements of the module quality,
characteristics of the module, materials on types of openings, and the aspect of materials quality, so that
the module could be used as learning medium for the basic compelency of types of openings in the subject
of basics of sewing technology at SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta.
