PENGARUH MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN KEDISIPLINAN DALAM BEKERJA TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PRAKTIK PENGELASAN SISWA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar dan kedisiplinan dalam praktik terhadap kompetensi praktik pengelasan siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul. Sampel penelitian expost facto ini adalah 170 siswa dari populasi 286 siswa kelas X dan X1 Teknik Pemesinan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi praktik pengelasan dengan koefisien determinasi (r²) sebesar 32,8%, nilai t_hitung=9,058 > t_tabel=2,34875 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Kedisiplinan dalam bekerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi praktik pengelasan dengan koefisien determinasi (r²) sebesar 43,1%, nilai t_hitung=11,292 > t_tabel=2,34875 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Motivasi belajar dan kedisiplinan dalam praktik secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetens praktik pengelasan dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 48,9%, nilai t_hitung=7,257 > t_tabel=2,34875 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000.

This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation and discipline in practice on the competence of welding practice students SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul. The sample of this expost facto research is 170 students from the population of 286 students of class X and X1 of Mechanical Engineering Department. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using simple regression and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that learning motivation influences student’s competence of welding practice significantly and positively with the coefficient of determinant (r²) is 32,8%, t_count = 9.058> t_table = 2.34875 and significance 0.000. Discipline in practice influence student’s competence of welding practice significantly and positively with the coefficient of determinant (r²) is 43.1%, t_count = 11.292> t_table = 2.34875 and significance 0.000. Motivation of learning and discipline in practice simultaneosly influence student’s competence of welding practice with the coefficient of determinant is 48.9%, t_count = 7,257> t_table = 2,34875 and significance 0,000.
