PROFIL LULUSAN SLTA MELANJUTKAN KULIAH DI DEPARTEMEN PENDIDIKAN TEKNIK MESIN FAKULTAS TEKNIK UNIVERSITAS NEGERI YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: rasio dan asal daerah sekolah calon mahasiswa baru yang mendaftar dengan yang lolos seleksi di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta ditinjau dari tingkat provinsi dalam periode 3 tahun terakhir. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah calon mahasiswa baru yang mendaftar di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Mesin dalam 3 tahun terakhir 2020, 2021 dan 2022. Sampel penelitian dipilih calon mahasiswa yang memilih pilihan pertama. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan observasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan: rasio antara calon yang mendaftar dan calon yang lolos seleksi (2020: 8%, 2021: 15%, 2022: 19%) dan calon yang mendaftar pada Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta berasal dari 33 provinsi dengan provinsi yang paling dominan Jawa Tengah sebesar 28% dalam periode 3 tahun terakhir.

This study aimed to determine the ratio and origin of high schools attended by new prospective students who applied to the Mechanical Engineering Education Department, Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University, in relation to their selection status, based on province-level data over the last three years. The research was conducted using a survey method, with the population of the study being new prospective students who applied to the Mechanical Engineering Education Department in the last three years (2020, 2021, and 2022). The research sample consisted of new prospective students who chose the department as their first choice. Data was collected using documentation and observation techniques, and the collected data was analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the ratio between prospective applicants and those who passed the selection process was 9% in 2020, 15% in 2021, and 19% in 2022. Moreover, prospective applicants to the Mechanical Engineering Education Department, Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University, came from 33 different provinces, with Central Java being the most dominant province at 28% over the last three years.
