PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA VISUAL ANIMASI 3D UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN OPERASIONAL MESIN FRAIS

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangakan media pembelajaran berbasis animasi 3D pada operasional mesin frais serta mengetahui kelayakan media. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4-D (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dosen ahli media dan media Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FT UNY Angakatan 2020. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, uji kelayakan produk dan angket dengan skala likert. Video animasi 3D diuji kelayakannya oleh expert judgement untuk memperoleh data penelitian. Analisis data penelitian memakai teknik analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk video animasi 3D melalui proses analisis kebutuhan (define), perancangan dan pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi 3D dengan pedoman script (design), hasil dari design diserahkan kepada expert judgement untuk mengetahui kelemahan produk sehingga bisa direvisi (develope). Tingkat kelayakan video animasi 3D pada aspek materi diperoleh nilai rerata 3,41/4,00 (sangat layak), pada aspek media diperoleh nilai rerata 3,76/4,00 (sangat layak).

This research aims to develop 3D animation learning media on operate milling machine and determine the feasibility of the media. The Research and Development (R&D) method conducted with a 4-D development model (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). The research subjects consists of material and media expert lecturers. The data were obtained through observation, product feasibility tests and questionnaires with a Likert scale. The 3D animation videos are tested for feasibility by expert judgement to obtain the research data. The data then proceed to be analysed using descriptive analysis techniques. Product of this research is a 3D animation video which goes through a need analysis process (define), design and making the 3D animation video-based learning media using script guidelines. (design), then the results of the design are submitted to expert judgements to find out the weakness of the product so that it can be revised (develop). The feasibility level of 3D animation videos in the material aspect obtained an average value of 3.41/4.00 (very feasible), in media aspects obtained an average value of 3.76/4.00 (very feasible).
