KESIAPAN SOFT SKILLS SISWA BIDANG TEKNOLOGI DAN KEJURUAN DI SMK NASIONAL BERBAH UNTUK MEMASUKI DUNIA KERJA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan soft skills siswa SMK Nasional Berbah, aspek soft skills yang perlu dimiliki siswa, cara pembelajaran soft skills dan hambatan dalam mempelajari soft skills. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, semua informasi atau data dalam bentuk angka. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan di SMK Nasional Berbah dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII jurusan teknik pemesinan, teknik kendaraan ringan, teknik sepeda motor, teknik instalansi tenaga listrik, dan teknik komputer jaringan, setiap satu jurusan satu kelas. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesiapan soft skills siswa untuk memasuki dunia kerja aspek komunikatif -0.559 (baik), aspek jujur -0.096 (baik), aspek tanggung jawab -0.285 (baik), aspek sopan -0.191 (baik), aspek disiplin -0.420 (baik). Aspek yang perlu dimiliki untuk memasuki dunia kerja adalah disiplin, jujur, tanggung jawab, dan sopan. Cara mengajarkan soft skills dengan menuangkan pada RPP. Hambatan mempelajari soft skills adalah siswa terbiasa dengan budaya di luar sekolah.

This research aims to know the readiness of the soft skills of the students of SMK Berbah National, aspects of soft skills that need to be owned by students, learning how to soft skills and obstacles in learning soft skills. Type of this research is quantitative research, all information or data in the form of numbers. This research uses descriptive analysis techniques. The research was carried out on SMK Berbah National with subject of research is the class XII students majoring in engineering, machining technique of lightweight vehicles, motorcycles, electric power instalansi engineering, and computer engineering network, each Department one class. The data obtained through questionnaires and interviews. The results showed the readiness of the soft skills of students to enter the world of work aspects of communicative-0559 (good), aspects of honest-0096 (good), the aspect of responsibility-0285 (good), the polite-0191 (good), aspects of the discipline-0420 (good). The aspects that need to have for entering the world of work is a discipline, honesty, responsibility, and polite. How to teach soft skills by pouring in the RPP. Barriers to learn soft skills are students familiar with cultures outside school.
