PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN KELUARGA DAN SEKOLAH TERHADAP MINAT MELANJUTKAN STUDI KE PERGURUAN TINGGI

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan keluarga dan sekolah terhadap minat melanjutkan studi kelas XII di Jurusan Teknik Mesin SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian expost facto dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat minat yang sangat tinggi pada jurusan teknik mesin serta terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan lingkungan keluarga terhadap minat melanjutkan studi, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan lingkungan sekolah terhadap prestasi minat melanjutkan studi, dan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan lingkungan keluarga dan lingkungan sekolah terhadap minat melanjutkan studi.
This research aims to determine the effect of family and school atmosphere on the interest to continue their studies in class XII in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Muhammadiyah Vocational School 3 Yogyakarta. This research is an ex post facto type of research with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics and correlation. The results showed that there was a very high interest in mechanical engineering majors and there was a positive and significant influence of the family environment on the interest in continuing the study, there was a positive and significant influence of the school environment on the achievement of interest in continuing studies, and there were positive and significant influences on family environment and school environment towards interest in continuing studies.
