HUBUNGAN PENGALAMAN PRAKTIK KERJA INDUSTRI DAN SIKAP PERCAYA DIRI DENGAN KESIAPAN KERJA SISWA SMK

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: hubungan pengalaman praktik kerja industri dengan kesiapan kerja siswa; hubungan sikap percaya diri dengan kesiapan kerja siswa; hubungan antara pengalaman praktik kerja industri dan sikap percaya diri dengan kesiapan kerja siswa Kelas XII Teknik Pemesinan SMK Negeri 1 Purworejo. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian ex post facto dengan praktik kerja industri (X₁) dan sikap percaya diri (X₂) sebagai variabel bebas serta kesiapan kerja (Y) sebagai variabel terikat. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 64 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment dan analisis korelasi ganda. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pengalaman praktik kerja industri dengan kesiapan kerja, dibuktikan koefisien  korelasi r_hitung lebih besar dari r_tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% sebesar (0,302>0,242). Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara sikap percaya diri dengan kesiapan kerja, dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi  r_hitung lebih besar dari r_tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% sebesar (0,596>0,242). Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pengalaman praktik kerja industri dan sikap percaya diri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII Teknik Pemesinan SMK Negeri 1 Purworejo, hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi ganda (R) sebesar 62% dan pada taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh nilai F_hitung lebih besar dari F_tabel (19,001>3,15).

The purpose of this research is to determine: the correlations of industry work experience with students work readiness; the correlations self-confidence with student work readiness; the correlations between industry work experience and self-confidence attitude with the students work readiness of Class XII Mechanical Engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Purworejo. This study included ex post facto research with industrial work practices (X₁) and self-confidence (X₂) as independent variables and work readiness (Y) as the dependent variable. The reasearch population was 64 students. The data was collected by questionnaire method. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics analysis and the hypotheses test was done product moment correlation analysis and multiple correlation analysis. The results showed that: (1) there is a positive and significant correlations between the experience of industrial work practices and work readiness, it is proven that correlation coefficient r_count is greater than r_table at a significance level of 5% (0.302> 0.242); (2) there is a positive and significant correlations between the attitude of confidence and work readiness, as evidenced by correlation coefficient r_count is greater than r_table at a significance level of 5% of (0.596> 0.242); (3) there is a positive and significant correlations between industrial work practice experience and self-confidence with students work readiness of class XII Mechanical Engineering SMK Negeri 1 Purworejo, this is evidenced by multiple correlation coefficient (R) of 62% and at the level the significance of 5% is obtained that the F_count is greater than F_table (19,001> 3,15).
