EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN METODE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MULTIMEDIA PEMBELAJARAN DI SMK N 1 PUNDONG

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKDLE dengan metode PBL berbantuan multimedia pembelajaran; (2) hasil belajar pada siswa mata pelajaran PKDLE dengan metode ceramah dengan powerpoint; (3) efektivitas menggunakan metode PBL berbantuan multimedia pembelajaran dan metode ceramah dengan powerpoint;(4) perbedaan hasil belajar kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran PBL berbantuan multimedia pembelajaran sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan; (5) perbedaan hasil belajar kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran ceramah dengan media powerpoint sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan; (6) perbedaan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dibandingkan hasil belajar kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen non equivalent control group design. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas  X A dan X B TITL di SMK N 1 Pundong sebanyak 59 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji independent sample t test, dan paired sample t  tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen yaitu nilai rata-rata antara pretest dan posttest mengalami peningkatan sebesar 29,16; (2) hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol yaitu nilai rata-rata antara pretest dan posttest mengalami peningkatan sebesar 25,56; (3) efektivitas menggunakan metode PBL berbantuan multimedia pembelajaran dan metode ceramah dengan power point termasuk kategori sedang; (4) kelompok siswa pada kelas eksperimen, hasil belajar setelah perlakuan lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar sebelum perlakuan; (5) kelompok siswa pada kelas kontrol, hasil belajar setelah perlakuan lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar sebelum perlakuan; (6) hasil belajar kelompok siswa kelas eksperimen sama atau tidak lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar kelompok siswa kelas kontrol.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the results of student learning in subjects PKDLE with PBL method of multimedia-assisted learning; (2) the results of the students to learn subjects PKDLE with lecture with powerpoint; (3) the effectiveness of using PBL method of multimedia-assisted learning and lecture with powerpoint; (4) differences in learning outcomes of students who take the group PBL learning multimedia-assisted learning before and after being treated; (5) differences in learning outcomes of students who take the learning group lectures with powerpoint media before and after being treated; (6) differences in the results of experimental class learning than classroom learning outcomes controls. This research is a quasi non equivalent control group design. Subjects were students of class X A and X B TITL in SMK N 1 Pundong as many as 59 people. The data collection technique using the test. Analysis of data using descriptive analysis, test independent sample t test, and paired sample t test. The results showed that: (1) the results of the experimental class students learn that the average value between pretest and posttest increased by 29.16; (2) the results of student learning control class that is the average value between pretest and posttest increased by 25.56; (3) the effectiveness of using PBL method of multimedia-assisted learning and lecture with powerpoint medium category; (4) groups of students in the experimental class, learning outcomes after treatment was higher than the results of study before treatment; (5) a group of students in the control class, learning outcomes after treatment was higher than the results of study before treatment; (6) the results of the study group experimental class students are not higher than the results of the study group control class.
