PENINGKATAN MINAT PEMBELAJARAN PADA MATA PELAJARAN GAMBAR TEKNIK KELAS XI MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DI SMK NEGERI 2 WONOGIRI

The aim of this study was designed to: (1) determine the improvement of learning interest at drawing technique by using problem based learning model compared with conventional learning model on learning outcomes of cognitive skills of grade XI engineering study program at SMKN 2 Wonogiri, (2) determine the effectiveness of the use of Problem Based Learning model compared with conventional learning model in improving learning interest at drawing technique of grade XI engineering study program at SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri.
This study was a Quasi-Experiment approach. The population of this study was all students of grade XI engineering study program at SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri with a sample size of 63 students consisting of two classes. The design of the study used non equivalent control group design. The subject of the study were the student of grade XI engineering study program, by dividing the students into two groups, as experimental group and control group. The data were collected by using the non-test instruments and test instruments. The data were analyzed by descriptive and parametric analysis.
The result of the study showed that: the improvement of learning interest by using Problem Based Learning model was more effective than the improvement of learning outcome by using conventional learning model. The comparison between mean and t-test of learning outcomes in 3 domains. Referring to mean, it was obtained 82.55 versus 77.03 of cognitive domain, 80.9 versus 74.7 of affective domain, and 86.6 versus 77.18 of psychomotor domain. Referring to t-test, it was obtained that cognitive domain of t-total and t-table was 2,031>2,00, affective domain of ttotal and ttable was 5,2>2,00, and psychomotor domain of ttotal and ttable were 10,6>2,00.

Tujuan penelitian ini dirancang untuk: (1)mengetahui peningkatan minat pembelajaran gambar menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional pada hasil belajar ranah kognitif kelas XI Program keahlian Teknik Pemesinan SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri, (2) mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan minat belajar gambar kelas XI Program keahlian Teknik Pemesinan SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan Quasi-Experiment. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian Teknik Pemesinan SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 63 siswa yang terdiri dari dua kelas. Desain penelitian menggunakan non equivalent control group design. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan dengan membagi dua kelompok, sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan instrumen tes dan instrumen non tes, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan deskriptif dan parametrik.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : minat belajar melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional yang terlihat dari perbandingan rerata dan uji t nilai hasil belajar pada 3 ranah. Pada ranah kognitif 82,55 berbanding 77,03, ranah afektif 80,9 berbanding 74,7, dan ranah psikomotor 86,6 berbanding 77,18. ditinjau dari uji t diperoleh ranah kognitif thitung dengan ttabel sebesar 2,031>2,00, ranah afektif thitung dengan ttabel sebesar 5,2>2,00, dan ranah psikomotorik thitung dengan ttabel sebesar 10,6>2,00.
