ANALISIS BENGKEL LISTRIK SMK NEGERI 2 YOGYAKARTA MENGGUNAKAN METODE ERGONOMIC CHECKPOINTS DAN JOB SAFETY ANALYSIS (JSA)

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi bengkel dan potensi bahaya yang muncul di bengkel instalasi listrik SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) keadaan bengkel instalasi listrik di SMK N 2 Yogyakarta masih kurang pada penyimpanan dan penanganan bahan, desain tempat kerja, pencahayaan, dan premises. Keamanan mesin dan organisasi kerja juga merupakan poin yang masih kurang diperhatikan di bengkel instalasi listrik SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. Hal ini dikarenakan tidak terdapatnya mesin di bengkel tersebut. Sedangkan organisasi kerja disebabkan dalam dunia pendidikan struktur organisasi nya berbeda dengan dunia kerja. (2) Potensi bahaya yang timbul di bengkel instalasi listrik SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta yaitu cedera otot, kelelahan, tersengat listrik, hubung singkat/ konsleting, kelelahan otot tangan, kelelahan mata karena pencahayaan yang kurang terang, tertusuk perlatan, tertimpa motor listrik karena motor tidak berada dalam posisi aman, terjatuh, dan lain sebagainya yang dapat mengakibatkan cedara pada praktikan. Potensi bahaya yang memiliki nilai resiko yang tinggi seperti tersengat listrik sudah tertangani dengan cara menambahkan kabel grounding dan menambahkan sistem keamanan seperti circuit breaker guna mengantisipasi terjadinya sengatan listrik terhadap praktikan dan pengaman alat praktik. Kemudian potensi bahaya berikutnya cedera otot, hal ini di sebab kan posisi tubuh yang bungkuk-berdiri terjadi berulang kali dalam kegiatan praktik.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the workshop environment and potential hazards occurring in electric installation workshop at SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. The result of the research shows that: (1) the environment of the electric installation workshop in SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta is still lack of storage and material handling, workplace design, illumination, and premises. The safety of mechanical and work organization are some points that need to be increased in electric installation workshop at SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. This condition was caused by no machine in the workshop. Dealing with the work organization, the condition was caused by the difference of organizational structure between educational and the world of work. (2) The potential hazards found in electric installation workshop at SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta are muscular injury; fatigue; electric shock; short circuit; muscular fatigue; eyestrain because of lacking of illumination; needle stick injury; hit by electric motor as the motor is not secured in a safe position; to drop down; and other things that can injury trainee. The high risks potential hazards, for example: electric shock; have been managed by installing grounding system and a security system, such as: circuit breaker to anticipate electrical shock to the trainee and safety of practicum tools. The next potential hazard is muscular injury due to working position that requires the trainee to squat frequently during practices).
