Collaborative Governancein the Development of Tonjong Canyon Tourism Village in Tasikmalaya Regency

Abstract

This study aims to explain the Collaborative Governance process in the Development of Tonjong Canyon Tourism Village in Nangelasari Village, Tasikmalaya Regency to realize sustainable tourism. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The types of data used in this study are primary and secondary data, using observation, interview and documentation collection techniques. The results of this study indicate that collaborative governance in the development of Tonjong Canyon Tourism Village, the Nangelasari Village Government as the main actor that collaborates with various parties such as LPM, BPD, Karang Taruna, private sector, and the community. The community has been involved since the beginning in the management of tourist attractions, although the involvement of academics and the private sector is still limited, and the lack of human resources is a major challenge. These findings indicate the importance of the role of the Village Government in ensuring smooth collaboration between stakeholders to support the development of sustainable tourism villages.
