EFFORT TO IMPROVE THE GERMAN WRITING SKILLS OF GRADE XI STUDENTS OF THE SOCIAL PROGRAM OF SMA NEGERI 2 WATES KULON PROGO THROUGH CAMTASIA STUDIO

Abstract


The aimed of this study improving (1) the achievement of German writing skills of grade XI students of the social program of SMA N 2 Wates Kulon Progo, (2) the students’ active involvement in the teaching and learning of German writing skills through Camtasia Studio. The type of this study was Classroom Action Research. This research consists of two cycles that each cycle comprises four action comprises planning; action; observation; reflection and evaluation. The indicator in this research are (1) product successfulness indicated by the increase in the students’ score of the improvement of German writing skills of the student is 24.93 % that is from average score 71.75 % to 89.64. Therefore it can be concluded existance of the improvement of the German writing skills of grade XI students of the social program of SMA N 2 Wates Kulon Progo. (2) process successfulness indicated by the increase in the students’ activeness is 43.41 % that is from 2.81 to 4.03. Therefore it can be concluded existance of the improvement of the activeness of grade XI students of the social program of SMA N 2 Wates Kulon Progo through Camtasia Studio.
