A FOLKTALE ANALYSIS DER FUNDEVOGGEL AND DIE WEIßE SCHLANGE IN BRÜDER GRIMM´S FAIRY TALES BASED ON VLADIMIR PROPP´S THEORY STRUCTURE NARRATIVE FUNCTION

Abstract
This study was aimed to describe 1. the functions 2. folktale’s structure scheme, and 3. spheres of actions in folktales Der Fundevogel and Die weiße Schlange from the book Die Märchen der Brüder Grimm. Data was taken trough read-note technique. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative techniques. The data reliability used were intrarater and interater. The results of this study were 1. the number of the function from Der Fundevogel were 13. The the number of the function from Die weiße Schlange were 13. 2. The scheme structure of folktale Der Fundevogel and Die weiße Schlange were divided into 3 parts, which are, the beginning, the middle, and the end. 3. The function of folktale Der Fundevogel was distributed into 3 sphere of actions. The functions of sphere of actions in Die weiße Schlange were distributed into 5 sphere of actions.
