THE EFFORT TO IMPROVE GERMAN WRITING SKILL OF GRADE XI STUDENTS IN SMA NEGERI 1 BANGUNTAPAN BANTUL THROUGH CONCEPT SENTECE TECHNIQUE

Abstract


This study aimed to improve: (1) The student’s being active in the learning of German, (2) The achievement in the learning of German writing skill among the students of class XI SMAN 1 Banguntapan Bantul through concept sentence techniques. The research is a Classroom Action Research. The teqnique of learning conducted collaboratively between the reseacher, the teacher, and students. Subjekt of the research are students at XI IPA 1 grade of SMA Negeri 1 Banguntapan Bantul. The research procedures conducted in two cycles, each cycle has four times meeting. The techniques of data analysis in this research is descriptive qualitative. The Classroom Action Research consist of two cycles, each cycle consist of planning, action, observation, reflection and evaluation. Indicator of success in this research are (1) the success of the process and (2) the success of the product. The success of the process is showed by improvement of student’s being active in the learning of German. The success of the product is showed by mprovement of student’s achievement in the learning of German writing. The research show that there is a improvement which in accordance with Indicator of success, the success of the process improve student’s being active in the learning of German. The students be more active in the asking to teacher and the other students. The success of the product is showed by increase average value of writing skill in German in the amount of 14,32% out of 72,8 before action be 83,23 after action..
