THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE USE OF ROLLENSPIEL TECHNIQUE IN THE TEACHING OF GERMAN SPEAKING SKILL IN SMAN 1 MUNTILAN MAGELANG

Abstract


This research aims to find (1) to know the difference of learning achievement on German speaking skill in SMAN 1 Muntilan Magelang between those who are taught by using Rollenspiel technique and those who are taught by using conventional technique, and (2) The effectiveness using Rollenspiel technique in teaching German speaking skill in SMAN 1 Muntilan, Magelang. This research is a quasi-exsperiment. The result of the analysis is that ttestĀ (2,827) is bigger than ttable(2,000), on a significant level= 0,05. It can be concluded that (1) there is a difference of learning achievement on German speaking skill in SMAN 1 Muntilan Magelang between those who are taught by using Rollenspiel technique and those who are taught by using conventional technique, (2) in learning German speaking skill in SMAN 1 Muntilan Magelang, the use of Rollenspiel technique is more effective than the use of conventional technique.
