THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE MAKE A MATCH TECHNIQUE IN THE GERMAN READING SKILL IN SMA NEGERI 2 BOYOLALI

Abstract


This research aimed to find (1) the different of the teaching of German among the students of grade X in SMA N 2 Boyolali between those who are tought by “make a match technique” and those by conventional technique, (2) the effectiveness of the use of “make a match technique” in teaching of German reading skill among the students of grade X in SMA N 2 Boyolali. This research is a quasi-experiment. The data were collected through a pretest and a posttest. The data were analyzed by means of the t-test. The result showed tobtained=3,215>ttable=2,009 at a significance level α = 0,05 and the effectiveness weight was 8,63%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the “make a match technique” is effective of German reading skills.
