IMPROVING THE GERMAN WRITING SKILL OF THE STUDENTS OF GRADE XI OF THE LANGUAGES PROGRAM IN THE SMA N 2 WONOSARI GUNUNGKIDUL THROUGH THE PREZI MULTIMEDIA
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to improve (1) achievement German writing skills of the students of grade XI of the Languages Program in the SMA Negeri 2 Wonosari Gunungkidul through the Prezi multimedia and (2) the motivation of the students of grade XI of the Languages Program in the SMA Negeri 2 Wonosari Gunungkidul through the Prezi multimedia. This research is Classroom Action Research. The strategy is determined collaboratively between researcher and teacher. The subjects is students of grade XI of the Languages Program in the SMA Negeri 2 Wonosari. This classroom action research consisted of two cycles . Each action consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research data is analyzed by descriptive-qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that (1) there is an increase learning achievement in German writing skills of the students of grade XI of the Languages Program in the SMA Negeri 2 Wonosari Gunungkidul through the Prezi multimedia by 7,2 %, and (2) there is an increase in the motivation of the students of grade XI of the Languages Program in the SMA Negeri 2 Wonosari Gunungkidul through the Prezi multimedia.
