THE EFFORT TO IMPROVE THE GERMANSPEAKING SKILLOF THE 11TH GRADE STUDENTS OF SMA NEGERI 2 WATES KULON PROGO IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF STUDY 2012/2013 THROUGH VIDEO

Abstract


This research aims to improve; (1) student's speaking fluency in German language of XI IPA 3SMA Negeri 2 Wates Kulon Progo through video learning (2) student's motivation in German language learning skill through video. This research method is classroom action reseach. Reseacher and teacher are in collaboration to determine the strategy. This research consist of 2 cycles, and each cycle contains of 4 steps, they are planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of study are the students of XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Wates Kulon Progo. The data collecting method are class observation, interview, field record, questionaire, documentation and German language speaking test. The data then analized by descriptive qualitatives method. The result of this reseach shows; (1) there are increasing percentages in German language speaking fluency skill of XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Wates Kulon Progo through video learning up to 13,7% and (2) increaseing percentages in student's motivation in German language learning skill through video up to 40,7%.
