THE IDEOLOGY OF SOCIALISM MARXISM AND THE CLASS STRUGGLE IN BERTOLT BRECHT’S "SOLIDARITÄTSLIED": A STUDY OF RIFFATERRE SEMIOTIC

Abstract


This study aims to describe the relationship of the ideology of Socialism Marxism and the class struggle in Bertolt Brecht”s "Solidaritätslied" through a study of Riffaterre semiotic. Source of research data is the poem "Solidaritätslied" by Bertolt Brecht. Data collection techniques with heuristic and hermeneutic readings, determine the matrix, model, variant, and hipogram. The validity of the data using semantic validity and expert judgment. Comprises is intrarater reliability and interrater. Results of the study of poetry "Solidaritätslied" concluded that the readings heuristic contains calls for heading the revolution. Hermeneutic reading of the poem concluded their relationship with Socialism Marxism ideology of the class struggle, as well as found the indirect expression in the form of personification, sinekdoki, and ambiguity. Matrix of poetry is a proletarian revolution to destroy capitalism. Model of poetry namely proletarian revolution. Variants of the poetry found in the first verse until eleven. Hipogram of the poem consists of potential hipogram namely proletarian revolution to destroy capitalism. Actual Hipogram derived from Socialism Marxism ideology of the class struggle.
