THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE TEACHING AND LEARNING OF GERMAN THE GRADE OF ACROSS INTEREST IN SMA N 3 YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
This research aims to describe the characteristics of the teaching and learning of German the grade of across interest in SMA N 3 Yogyakarta.and to know many factors that influence Interest Across Class in SMA N 3 Yogyakarta. This is descriptive qualitative research. Technique of collecting data consisting of : observation, interview, documentation and questionnaire so it get the primary, secondary and tertiary data. The primary data is required from the interview result with the German Language Subject Teacher, vice Headmaster of Curriculum Field. The secondary data is from documentation of curriculum, syllabus, lesson plan, learning material and observation in class. Tertiary data is the result of questionarre that is given to the students in Interest Across Class that becomes research sample. From the result of this research can be shown that : (1)SMA N 3 Yogyakarta uses 2013 Curriculum. (2) The teacher has great role to motivate and interact with the students during learning class. (3). The purpose of teaching and learning of German Language in this SMA is they can understand German Language in daily contex so they can communicate with other people in German Language Country. (4) The students in Interest Across Class or the 10th Grade of this school are the best choice students based on the result in test and questionnaire. (5) The students use Studio d A1 book and Netzwerk A1. (6) Learning material of German Language that is thought in this SMA is equal with examination competence standard from Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, they are A1, A2 and B1. (7) The infrastructures condition in this SMA is good such as Language Laboratory and LCD. (8)The teacher give the evaluation by written question, homework, gams and question and answer.
