VARIATION IN TEACHING MACAPAT CLASS XII SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 GOMBONG
Abstract
This research aimed to knowwhat kind of variation that the teacher didin learning. This reserach included qualitative reseach that aimed to spell out what kind and benefits of variation that the teacher did in learning Tembang Macapat. The source of the data was teacher who teachesTembang Macapat in twelve gradestudents at Senior High School 1 Gombong. The data was obtained from observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. Data analysis technique used data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Validating the data was done by extending the participation and triangulation method. The results of this research suggest that: (1) Teacher of the Javanese Language at Senior High School 1 Gombong who teachesTembang Macapat has done the best-performing her skill to did the variation, so can make the students happy and not bored to studyTembang Macapat. (2) Variations that the teacher did include variations in style, variations in material, variations in media, variations in patterns of interaction and methods, and variation in evaluation. (3) Variations in style which the sound variation occurs, the variation attracts students attention, silence, contact view, mimic variation, and position and body variation in the classroom. Variation in material was the Tembang Macapat book of Wedhatama fiber. The variation of the media& the device for learning was visual, audio, and audio-visual. Variation of interaction patterns was the teacher-studentspatterns, teacher-students-teacherpatterns, teacher-students-studentspatterns, teacher-studentsstudents-teacher students-students patterns, and circular patterns. Variationinmethod was about lecture, questioning method, resitation method, demonstration method, practice & drill method, discussion method, inquiri method, and Team-Game-Tornament (TGT) method. Variation in evaluationwas test and non-test. (4) The benefits of the variation that the teacher didin learning Tembang Macapatcan be appreciated by students, teachers, and schools.
