THE ANALYSIS OF SCHOOL’S FINAL EXAMINATION ON BASA JAWI (JAVANESE LANGUAGE) SUBJECT ON CLASS VII OF SMP N 6 YOGYAKARTA ACADEMIC YEAR 2016/2017

Abstract


            The Research was titled The Analysis of School’s Final Examination on Basa Jawi (Javanese Language) subject on Class VII of SMP N 6 Yogyakarta academic year 2016/2017 which have some goals (1) describe the test’s validity (2) reliability (3) level of difficulty (4) level of diversity, and (5) distraction effectiveness. To achieve the goal, researcher used quantitative descriptive method. The results of the research were (1) validity analysis scored 60,67% therefore the exam was valid, (2) reliability scored on alpha coefficient 0.818 which is very good, (3) the difficulty of the exam questions were 36 easy questions (72%), 13 medium questions (26%) and only had 1 hard question (2%). (4) level of diversity was categorized into 32 (64%) good questions, and 18 (36%) bad questions. And last (5) the distraction effectiveness divided into (22%) that have good functionality and rest of it (78%) does not have good functionality. According to the result, it can be concluded that the questions that used for final examination of Javanese language subject used by SMP N 6 Yogyakarta is good to be used to measure the knowledge of the students, with necessary revision.
