PHILOLOGY STUDIES AND EXPLANATION OF POLYGAMY IN SÊRAT KÊNYÅ KÊBUKÅ

Abstract

            There are seven purposes in this research were; (1) inventory of SKK, (2) description of SKK, (3) transcript text of SKK, (4) transliterate text of SKK, (5) edit texts of SKK, (6) translate texts of SKK and (7) to explain inside of SKK. Descriptive method with modern philology approach were used in this research. Modern philology approach were used to study scripture and text of Sêrat Kênyå Kêbukå. Data were analyze use descriptive technique. Validity and reliability technique of intrarater and interrater were used in this research. Research results seven chapter of explanation is two exemplar SKK scripture were inventoried of SKK in museum library of DewantaraKirtiGriyaYogyakara and museum of RadyaPustaka. Scripture description were done in good condition for both scriptures and texts. Texts transcription from aksara Jawa were transcript to aksara Jawa. Transliteration of aksara Jawa to Latinize. Standard edit text by aparat critics, 19 words were edited. Text translation were made by translated Javanese into Bahasa Indonesia. Content of SKK were about a polygamy man’s bad behaviors: creating uncomfortable atmosphere, play favor, unable to support financially and unable to protect.
