THE DEVELOPMENT OF MOBILE WEB-BASED SCHOOL ACTIVITIES INFORMATION SYSTEM IN SMK NEGERI 2 YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a mobile web-based school activities information system to facilitate the dissemination of information related to school activities for students in SMK 2 Yogyakarta. In this information system, access is only granted to students who have signed up and verified by the administrator. Through the school activities information system students can access information related to school activities such as news, agenda and message managed by student section. Development method used is the Research and Development (R & D), with the Object-Oriented design procedures and Waterfall development model. Waterfall development model consists of four phases: project planning, analisys, design, and implementation. The results of this research is the development of the mobile web-based school activities information system using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), CodeIgniter framework, Bootstrap and SB Admin 2.
