THE DEVELOPMENT OF ANDROID BASED IAR (IQRA’ AUGMENTED REALITY) APPLICATION AS A HIJAIYAH LETTER MAKHORIJUL LEARNING MEDIA IN ISLAM EDUCATION SUBJECT IN STATE VOCATION HIGH SCHOOL 1 MAGELANG

Abstract


This research is aimed to (1) develop Android based IAR (Iqra’ Augmented Reality) as a Hijaiyah letter makhorijul huruf learning media in islam education subject in State Vocational High School 1 Magelang, and (2) understand the quality level of IAR (Iqra’ Augmented Reality) application based on the aspects of functional suitability, compatibility, usability, and performance efficiency (ISO 25010). This research is design based on Research and Development (R&D) method, and the procedure used in developing the IAR (Iqra’ Augmented Reality) application is waterfall development procedure through the steps of doing needs analysis, designing, implementing, and testing. The test of the application development includes the test of functional suitability, compatibility, usability, and performance efficiency aspects. The findings of this research are (1) IAR (Iqra’ Augmented Reality) application in a form Android application which has hijaiyah letter detector camera, Hijaiyah letter Makhorijul material, and the instruction to use the application. This application in the process of this development use augmented reality technology. (2) This application has fulfilled the ISO 25010 standard quality. In functional suitability aspect, this application gets the percentage of 100% based on the quality standard assigned by AquA. In compatibility aspect, this application gets a percentage of 100%. In usability aspect, it gets the percentage of 81,6% with the category of “very proper”. In performance efficiency aspect. It gets the averageof responding time of 1,3051 seconds with the category of “very satisfy”
