DEVELOPMENT OF 2 DIMENTIONAL ANIMATION TECHNIQUE INTERACTIVE LEARNING MEDIA BASED ON ADOBE FLASH FOR GRADE XI MULTIMEDIA STUDENTS IN SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 YOGYAKARTA

Abstract


The research aims to: (1) develop a 2 dimensional animation technique interactive learning media based on Adobe Flash in competency standard of how to draw the key for animation with basic competence on explaining animation requirement, (2) determine the feasibility of 2 dimensional animation technique interactive learning media based on Adobe Flash in competency standard of how to draw the key for animation with basic competence on explaining animation requirement. The research method is Research and Development (R&D) with Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development model. Results from this research are: (1) the development of 2 dimensional animation technique interactive learning media is through several phrases, those phrases are concept phrase, design phases, material collecting phrase, assembly phrase, testing phrase, and distribution phrase, (2) The feasibility of 2 dimensional animation technique interactive learning media according to media expert is qualified as very good with the average score of overall aspect is 4,41 and the media quality percentage is 88,09%. According to material expert is qualified as very good with the average score is 4,21 and media quality percentage is 84,5%. Based on test that has been done to the students/respondents is qualified as good with the average score of overall aspect is 3,78 and media quality percentage is 76,5%. In conclusion, according to media and material expert, and respondents this 2 dimensional animation technique interactive learning media is feasible to use and will support the teaching-learning process for Grade XI Multimedia students in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta.
