Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada mata pelajaran pengolahan citra digital kelas XI Multimedia SMK PGRI Sukoharjo. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran setelah menggunakan strategi pembelajaran problem based learning pada kelas XI Multimedia SMK PGRI Sukoharjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas model Spiral yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Teknik penggumpulan data menggunakan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran problem based learning pada mata pelajaran Pengolahan Citra Digital kelas XI Multimedia di SMK PGRI Sukoharjo dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa. Hal ini terbukti bahwa keaktifan siswa meningkat pada setiap siklusnya. Pada pertemuan pertama siklus I sebanyak 60,33%. Pada pertemuan kedua siklus I keaktifan siswa sebanyak 66,67%. Sedangkan pada pertemuan pertama siklus II keaktifan siswa sebanyak 74,5%. Pada pertemuan kedua siklus II keaktifan siswa sebanyak 80%.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to enhance the activity of the students on the subjects of digital image processing class XI Multimedia SMK PGRI Sukoharjo. It is also to know how big the increase in activity of students in learning after the use of learning strategies of problem based learning in class XI Multimedia SMK PGRI Sukoharjo. This study uses classroom action research Spiral model developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. Data collection technique used observation. Data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. This study showed that the application of learning strategies of problem based learning on the subjects of Digital Image Processing Multimedia in class XI SMK PGRI Sukoharjo can increase students' activity. It is evident that the student activity increased in each cycle. At the first meeting of the first cycle as much as 60.33%. At the second meeting of the first cycle of activity of students as much as 66.67%. While in the first meeting of the second cycle students' activity as much as 74.5%. At the second meeting of the second cycle students' activity as much as 80%.
