USABILITY TESTING OF WEB BASED REPAIR MANUAL: AN AUTOMOTIVE MAJOR STUDENT’S PRACTICAL WORK GUIDANCE

Abstract

This study was used to find out the usability of Web Based Repair Manual software. This research refers to Research and Development method (R&D). The object of this research is Web Based Repair Manual Software. Product testing based on the research purpose was focused in usability testing. Research data was collected using Arnold Lund’s USE Questionnaire consisting of 30 questions represents four aspects of usability (ease of use, ease of learning, functionality, and satisfaction). Data were collected from 30 Automotive Major students of SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. Data were analyzed using quantitative analysis. Result obtained from usability testing calculation was 80,33 %, therefore the usability aspect of the Web Based Repair Manual software was good.
