PENINGKATAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF MATA PELAJARAN IPA SISWA KELAS V SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh cara-cara meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa SD Negeri Bangunrejo 2 dalam pembelajaran IPA melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning dan mengetahui besar peningkatannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis dan
Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari siklus yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, serta refleksi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 20 siswa. Data keaktifan belajar siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan pengamatan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Coooperative Learning. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, rata-rata keaktifan belajar siswa pada Siklus I 68,8% dan Siklus II 75,3%. Hasil pada Siklus II sudah melampaui indikator keberhasilan yaitu berdasarkan hasil observasi sudah ≥75%.

Abstract

This research aimed to find some ways to improve students learning activity and to find out the amount of the improvement in SD Negeri Bagunrejo 2. This research was Classroom Action Research with Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model consists of planning, acting & observing, and also reflecting. This research was held by those two cycles. The subject of this research was twenty students of Fifth Grade. Learning activity data was gained by observation, interview, and document observation. The result show that the learning activity on Fifth Grade student can be improved by implementing Cooperative Learning strategies in Science. Based on observation result, students learning independence at first cycle was 68,87% and second cycle was 75,3%. The result of second cycle
have reached the research success indicator.
