MODEL QUANTUM TEACHING DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV SDN TUKANGAN YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA melalui model quantum teaching pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Tukangan, Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas IVA yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model quantum teaching  dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa dengan cara langkah TANDUR divariasi; tumbuhkan dengan pemberian lagu, alami dengan memberikan pengalaman langsung, namai dengan pemberian tugas, demonstrasi dengan mempresentasikan, ulangi dengan tanya jawab, dan rayakan dengan pemberian pujian.  Peningkatan tersebut ditunjukkan melalui hasil tes di siklus I yaitu 15 siswa yang mendapatkan nilai ≥75 meningkat menjadi 25 atau seluruh siswa mendapatkan nilai ≥75 di siklus II.

Abstract

This study aims at improving sciene learning through a model of quantum teaching of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Tukangan, Yogyakarta. This was a classroom action research. This research subject were class fourth grade totaling 25 students. The instruments used questions and observation sheet. Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results show that the quantum model of teaching can improve science learning outcome. TANDUR implemented with this steps; growing through singing a song, doing through direct experience, labelling through doing some exercises, demonstrate through presenting, repeat frequently through question and answer, and celebrating through accept reward. The improvement is show by the test results in the first cycle that 15 students reach score ≥75 increase to 25 or all students get score ≥75 in the second cycle.
