Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan perilaku bullying dengan kemampuan interaksi sosial siswa kelas III SD Negeri Minomartani 6 Ngaglik Sleman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis Korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 28 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala perilaku bullying dan kemampuan interaksi sosial. Uji validitas instrument menggunakan rumus Product Moment. Hasil uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach yang menghasilkan indeks reliabilitas sebesar 0,681 untuk variabel perilaku bullying dan 0,839 untuk variabel kemampuan interaksi sosial. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai korelasi antara variabel perilaku bullying dan kemampuan interaksi sosial sebesar -0,832 sehingga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara perilaku bullying dengan kemampuan interaksi sosial siswa kelas III SD Negeri Minomartani 6 Ngaglik Sleman.  Hasil uji hipotesis sebesar -0,832 termasuk dalam kategori sangat kuat. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa apabila perilaku bulllying tinggi, maka kemampuan interaksi sosial menjadi rendah.

Abstract

The study aimed to find out the correlations between bullying and students social skills of 3rd grade students of SD Negeri Minomartani 6 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta. This research used correlational approach. This study was conducted in the 3th grade of SD N Minomartani 6 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The population were 28 students. The data collection technique of this research was conducted by the scale of bullying and social skill. The instrument validity used expert judgement, then it was tested in the field. The reability test used Alpha Cronbach and the score of reability index of bullying was 0,681 and 0,839 for reability index of social skill. The data of this research were analyzed by using Product Moment. The result showed that the correlation value between bullying and student social skill variable and the hypothesis test was -0,832. It showed that there was a significant correlation between bullying and the students social skill in the 3rd grade of SD N Minomartani 6 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The result of hypothesis test was -0.832 and it was in the interval coefficient of 0,800 - 1,00 and the category was very strong. This suggests that if the bullying behavior was high, the ability of social interaction became low.
