PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR IPA MELALUI MODEL NHT PADA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI PANGGANG

Penelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT).Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas.Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2015 hingga April 2016 di SD Negeri Panggang Sedayu Bantul.Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdapat dua pertemuan. Desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Data hasil penelitian berdasarkan observasi dan angket motivasi belajar siswa.Analisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan motivasi belajar siswa kelas V mengalami peningkatan melalui langkah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT yaitu penomoran, pengajuan pertanyaan, berpikir bersama, dan pemberian jawaban. Pada pra siklus, persentase motivasi belajar siswa menunjukkan persentase rendah sebesar 39,98%. Pada siklus I, persentase motivasi belajar siswa meningkat sebesar 65,43%. Pada siklus II, persentase motivasi belajar siswa meningkat sebesar 76,04% dan telah memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan penelitian. Siswa sudah mampu bekerja sama dalam kelompok, lebih semangat dan termotivasi dalam belajar, sertalebih aktif dan menghargai pendapat teman. Abstract This research aims to improve science learning motivation through cooperatif learning model with Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type. The research type was classroom action research. The research subjects were 26 students at 5th grade. The research was done on October 2015 until April 2016 in SD N Panggang. The research was done within 2 cycles, each cycle there were 2 meetings. The research design used Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The research result data were gotten from observation and questionnaire of the students learning motivation. The data analyzed were used by qualitative and quantitative. The research result show that the students learning motivation at 5th grade students can increase through cooperatif learning model steps with NHT, that are numbering, questioning, heads together, and answering. At pre-cycle, percentage of the students learning motivation show low score as big as 39,98%. At cycle 1, persentage of the students learning motivation improve as big as 65,43%. At cycle 2, persentage of the students learning motivation improve as big as 76,04% and research the successfull criteria. The Students can work together in groups , more spirit and motivation to learn , and also more active and appreciate the opinion of friends in the group discussions.
