PENGARUH PBL TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR TINGKAT TINGGI SISWA KELAS V SD SE-GUGUS 01 KRETEK

Abstrak
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis quasi experiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Variabel bebas adalah model PBL sedangkan variabel terikat adalah kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Populasi berjumlah 196 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive cluster random sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas VA SD 1 Kretek (kelompok eksperimen) dan kelas VA SD 2 Donotirto (kelompok kontrol) masing-masing 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes. Instrumen divalidasi oleh expert judgement kemudian instrument tes diujicobakan dan pengujian dilakukan dengan analisis faktor. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan statistik parametrik yang terdiri dari uji prasyarat (uji normalitas dan homogenitas) dan uji hipotesis (T-test). Data diolah dengan SPSS.20 for Windows dengan signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa yang belajar menggunakan model PBL.

Abstract
The study was aimed at identifying the effect of the PBL model for higher order thinking skills. The study used quasi experimental type of quantitative approach with nonequivalent control group design. The independent variable of the study was PBL model, while the dependent variable was the higher order thinking skills. The populations of the study were 196 students. The samples were taken by using purposive cluster random sampling at class VA of SDN 1 Kretek (experimental group) and class VA of SDN 2 Donotirto (control group), each class had 20 students. The data were collected by doing observation and test. The instruments was validated by expert judgment and then the test instrument was tested using factor analysis. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and statistical parametric consisted of prerequisite test (normality and homogeneity test) and hypothesis test (T-test). The data were processed by SPSS.20 for Windows with a significance level of 5%. The results of the study showed a positive and significant effect on the higher order thinking skills of the students that learned using PBL model.
