UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MELALUI MODEL TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT)

Abstrak
 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Jlaban, Kulon Progo Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 melalui model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournaments (TGT). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis & McTaggart. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 24 siswa, terdiri dari 11 siswa putra dan 13 siswa putri. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validasi instrumen dilakukan melalui expert judgement. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) dapat meningkatkan partisipasi guru pada siklus I ke siklus II dari 77% menjadi 91%. Peningkatan partisipasi siswa pada siklus I ke siklus II meningkat dari 72% menjadi 89%. Presentase ketuntasan hasil tes belajar siswa (KKM ≥76) siklus I dan siklus II sebanyak 16 siswa (67%) menjadi 22 siswa (92%)  dengan peningkatan rata-rata hasi belajar 6,4 yaitu dari 75,6 menjadi 82.

Abstract

This research aim at improving the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN Jlaban, Kulon Progo in Academic Year 2018/2019 by using Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) learning model. This research used the Kemmis & Mc Taggart model. The research subjects were fourth grade elementary school students. The data collection techniques were tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. Instrument validation was done through expert judgment. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results show that teams games tournaments learning model can increase teacher participation in first cycle to second cycle from 77% to 91%. The student participation in the first and second cycles increased from 72% to 89%. The percentage of completeness of the results of student learning tests (KKM ≥76) in first cycle and second cycle are 16 students (67%) to 22 students (92%), with an increase in the learning outcomes average of 6.40 which from 75.6 to 82
