Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Jlaban, Sentolo, Kulon Progo.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model Kemmis dan MC Taggart yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 26 siswa dan bertempat di SD Negeri Jlaban, Sentolo. Data konsentrasi belajar siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan konsentrasi belajar siswa meningkat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together. Dengan hasil pada siklus I menunjukan persentase konsentrasi belajar siswa sebesar 48,68%. Pada siklus II, perbaikan yang dilakukan dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar siswa dengan persentase sebesar 82,97%.

Abstract

This research aims at improving the concentration of student learning in the learning process through the application of the Numbered Heads Together type of cooperative learning model to fifth grade students of SD Jlaban, Sentolo, Kulon Progo. This research was a classroom action research used the Kemmis and MC Taggart models which consist of plan, action, observation and reflection. The subjects were 26 students. Student learned concentration data were obtained using observation sheets and interview guidelines. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results indicate that the concentration of student learning increases through the application of the Numbered Heads Together type of cooperative learning model. The results in the first cycle show the percentage of students learning concentration of 48,68%. In the second cycle, improvements made can increase student learning concentration with a percentage of 82.97%.
