Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri sosial pada siswa kelas VA SD N Sawit Sewon, Bantul tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 20 siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes uraian, observasi dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis deksriptif kualitatif. Kriteria keberhasilan hasil belajar adalah 75% siswa yang mencapai skor ≥75.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar IPS siswa dari pra siklus 30%, siklus I 55%, dan siklus II 85%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve social studies learning results by applying the social inquiry learning model to 5thA grade students in SD N Sawit Sewon, Bantul in the 2018/2019 teaching year. This type of research is classroom action research, with research subjects were 20 students. The study design used the Kemmis and McTaggart models. The technique of collecting data were essay tests, observations and field notes. The data analysis technique were quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive analysis. The criteria for the success of learning results was 75% of students who achieved a score of ≥75. The results of the study show that the percentage of completeness of social studies learning results of students from pre-cycle was 30%, cycle I was 55%, and cycle II was 85%.
