NILAI-NILAI KARAKTER DALAM PELAKSANAAN KEGIATAN EKSTRAKURIKULER SENI TARI SISWA KELAS TINGGI SDN 5 WATES

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai karakter pada pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari pada siswa kelas tinggi di SD Negeri 5 Wates. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Nilai-nilai karakter dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tari di SDN 5 Wates yaitu dengan pembiasaan-pembiasaan pada kegiatan pra, kegiatan awal, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan akhir; 2) Nilai-nilai karakter yang muncul dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tari yaitu disiplin, sopan dan santun, bersahabat/komunikatif, membantu atau menolong, percaya diri, tanggung jawab, jujur, kreatif, kerja keras, peduli lingkungan, menghargai prestasi teman, dan cinta tanah air; 3) Guru paham mengenai arti atau makna tari perang yang menggambarkan tentang seorang prajurit yang sedang berperang di medan perang; 4) Guru tidak memberikan penjelasan kepada peserta didik tentang nilai-nilai karakter dalam tari perang.

Abstract

This study aims to describing character values of dance art extracurricular activities at the high class student of State Elementary School 5 Wates. Data collection in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. Test of data validity that used were source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis techniques included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: 1) Character values of dance art extracurricular activities at State Elementary School 5 Wates is obtained through habituations contained in pre activities, initial activities, core activities, and final activities; 2) Character values that appeared in dance art extracurricular activities were discipline, polite, friendly/communicative, helpful, confident, responsible, honest, creative, hard work, caring for the environment, respecting friend’s achievements, and loving the country; 3) The teacher’s understood the meaning of Tari Perang which describes a soldier who was fighting on the battlefield; 4) The teacher didn’t give an explanation to students about character values in Tari Perang.
