PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL KELAS IVB PADA MUATAN IPS MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PBL

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learningpada muatan IPS siswa kelas IV B SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas.Subyek penelitian berjumlah 27 siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan skala keterampilan sosial. Data dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PBL dalam muatan IPS dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas IV B SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta.Hasil penelitian siklus I diketahui keterampilan sosial siswa dalam kriteria cukup. Rata-rata persentase hasil observasi 75%dan aspekskala keterampilan sosial siswa 74,85%. Hasil penelitian siklus II menunjukkan keterampilan sosial siswa berada pada kriteria baik dengan rata-rata presentase hasil observasi sebesar 84% dan rata-rata hasil aspek skala keterampilan sosial siswa sebesar 83,43%. Hasil dari siklus II telah memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan penelitian yaitu rata-rata persentase keterampilan sosial siswa ≥76%.

Abstract

This research aims to improve social skill throughproblem based learning (PBL) in social study activity of grade IV B at SDNegeri Golo yogyakarta. The type of this research was classroom action research. The subjects were 27 students. The data collection technique used observation and social skill scale. The data analysis technique were quantitative descriptive. The result of the research shows that the problem based learning implementation can improve student’s social skill of class IVB SD N Golo Yogyakarta. Based on the research result in the first cycle is known that the succed criteria of students’s social skill is enough. The average of percentage of observation result is 75%, students’s social skill scale is 74,85%. The second cycle result shows that the succed criteria of students’s social skill is good with the average of percentage of observation result is 84% and the average of percentage of student’s social skill scale aspec result is 83,43%.The result of the second cycle reaches the goals that the percentage of students’s social skill is ≥76%.
