Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Number Head Together (NHT). Jenis penelitian Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) desain Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV A SD Negeri Margoyasan yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif.. Hasil observasi dan wawancara awal menunjukan bahwa kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA rendah. Lalu pada siklus I kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA menjadi 70,00% (kategori baik), sedangkan hasil akhir siklus II kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA mencapai 90,28% (kategori sangat baik), sehingga pada siklus II kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA sudah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan yang ditetapkan yaitu sebanyak ≥70% jumlah siswa sudah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan indikator kerjasama sebesar ≥70% (dalam kategori baik).

Abstract

The research aims to improve student collaboration in science learning throught cooperative learning model Number Head Together (NHT). Type of research was Kemmis and Mc Taggart's Class Action Research (CAR) design. The subjects of the study were students of class IV A Margoyasan Public Elementary School, amounting to 20 students. The data analysis technique used were descriptive quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results of observations and preliminary interviews show that the collaboration of students in science learning was low. Then in the first cycle students' cooperation in science learning became 70.00% (good category), while the final results of the second cycle of students' cooperation in science learning reached 90.28% (very good category), so that in the second cycle students' cooperation in science learning was already achieve the specified success criteria, namely as much as %70% of the number of students had reached the success criteria for collaboration indicators of ≥70% (in the good category).
