PENINGKATAN SIKAP TANGGUNG JAWAB SISWA MELALUI MODEL NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER (NHT)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap tanggung jawab siswa pada pembelajaran bermuatan IPS melalui model kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads (NHT) pada kelas VA SD Negeri Demakijo 1. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VA SD Negeri Demakijo 1 yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang dilaksanakan dua siklus. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Kriteria keberhasilan penelitian ini adalah minimal persentase rerata sikap tanggung jawab siswa mencapai 75% kategori sangat baik pada setiap indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan sikap tanggung jawab siswa setelah menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT)  yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan rerata sikap tanggung jawab dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu sebesar 67% (kategori baik) menjadi 88% (kategori sangat baik).

Abstract

This Research aims at improving the students’ responsibility in social studies learning through a type of cooperative model Numbered Heads Togetehr (NHT) in 5th grade students at SD Negeri Demakijo 1.This type of this research was a Classroom Action Research, with 29 students of SD Negeri Demakijo 1 as the subject of the research. The research design adapted from Kemmis and Mc Taggart models which was conducted in two cycles. The data were collected through observation. The technique of the research was quantitative description. The indicator of research is the minimun percentage of average responsibility which reached 75% very good category in every indicator. The results of this research showed that there was an improving of students’ responsibility using the type of cooperative model Numbered Head Together (NHT) in which the improving from cycle I to cycle II was 67% (good category) to 88% (very good category).
