PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL MELALUI PERMAINAN TRADISIONAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial menggunakan permainan tradisional dalam pembelajaran pada siswa kelas IV SD Bendosari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 19 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan skala keterampilan sosial. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan tradisional dalam pembelajaran tematik dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas IV SD Bendosari. Permainan yang digunakan adalah Ular Naga dan Engklek. Hasil penelitian siklus I diketahui keterampilan sosial siswa dalam kriteria cukup. Rata-rata persentase hasil observasi 75%, skala keterampilan sosial siswa 74%. Hasil penelitian siklus II menunjukkan keterampilan sosial siswa berada pada kriteria baik dengan rata-rata persentase observasi dan skala keterampilan sosial 82%. Hasil dari siklus II telah memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan penelitian yaitu rata-rata persentase keterampilan sosial siswa ≥76%.

Abstract

The research aims to improve social skill through traditional games in thematic learning activity at grade IV of SD Bendosari. The type of this research was classroom action research. The subjects were 19 students. The data collection technique used observation and social skill scale. The data analysis used quantitative descriptive technique. The result shows that tradisional games in thematic learning can improve students’s social skill of class IV SD Bendosari. The traditional games that used are Ular Naga and Engklek. Based on the research result in the first cycle is known that the succed criteria of students’s social skill is enough. The average of percentage of observation result is 75%, students’s social skill scale is 74%. The second cycle result shows that the succed criteria of students’s social skill is good with the average of percentage of observation and students’s social skill scale is 82%. The result of the second cycle reaches the goals that the percentage of students’s social skill is ≥76%.
