IMPLEMENTASI GERAKAN LITERASI SEKOLAH DI SD NEGERI BHAYANGKARA YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi program literasi sekolah di SD Negeri Bhayangkara Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari tiga siswa, lima guru, pegawai perpustakaan, dan kepala sekolah SD Negeri Bhayangkara. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SD N Bhayangkara telah melaksanakan tiga tahap Gerakan Literasi Sekolah. 1) Tahap pembiasaan, terdapat buku literasi, kegiatan 15 menit membaca sebelum pembelajaran, adanya bahan kaya teks di setiap kelas, tersedia perpustakaan, sudut baca, area baca sekolah, poster kampanye membaca, serta ekosistem guru yang literat. 2) Tahap pengembangan, terdapat koleksi buku pengayaan yang bervariasi, kegiatan menanggapi bacaan, serta kegiatan yang mengapresiasi capaian literasi. 3) Tahap pembelajaran, adanya kegiatan menanggapi bacaan, adanya portofolio siswa untuk penilaian akademik, serta strategi membaca untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik.

Abstract

This research aims at describing the implementation of school literacy program in Bhayangkara Elementary School Yogyakarta. This research was a descriptive research. The subject of this research were students, teachers, the librarian, and the headmaster of Bhayangkara Elementary School. The technique of data collection used observation, interview, and documentation. The data checking technique used technique and source triangulation.The data analyze technique used a descirptive qualitative analyze. The result of this research shows that Bhayangkara Elementary School has been implemented of school literacy program in three steps. 1) the habituation steps, there was a literacy book, reading activity 15 minutes in everyday, the phisics school area, where rich of literacy like library and reading corner, and then school had a literate ecosystem. 2) the development step, there were various collection of enrichment books, activities respond to readings, and activities that appreciate the achievement of literacy. 3) the learning step, there were were activities respond to readings, student portfolio which used to academic assesment, and various reading strategy to improved student’s understanding.
