PENERAPAN STRATEGI ACTIVE LEARNING TEKNIK KUIS TIM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KONSENTRASI BELAJAR SISWA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar siswa kelas V sekolah dasar menggunakan strategi active learning teknik kuis tim. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan model Kemmis & Taggart. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa. Data konsentrasi belajar siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Data tersebut dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi belajar siswa meningkat melalui penerapan teknik kuis tim. Rata-rata skor konsentrasi belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari siklus I sebesar 17,13 dengan persentase 68,53% meningkat menjadi 19,26 dengan persentase 79,73% dari skor maksimal 25 dengan presentase 100%. Perbaikan pada siklus 2 adalah mengubah isi segmen kuis tim dan mengubah sistem penskoran kuis tim. Persentase tersebut telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yaitu rata-rata konsentrasi belajar siswa berdasarkan hasil observasi >70%, sehingga tindakan dihentikan pada siklus II.

Abstract
This research aims at improving student’s learning concentration at fifth grade students in primary school using active learning strategy with team quiz technique. This is a classroom action research with Kemmis and Taggart model. The subject was 30 students. The data collection technique were observation and interview. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The result of the research shows that the using active learning team quiz techniques by changing the content of the team quiz segment the team quiz scoring system in action of cycle II can improve student’s learning concentration. The average score of student learning concentration which was obtained from cycle I were 17,13 (68,53%) increased to 19,26 (79,73%) from a maximum score of 25 (100%) in cycle II. The percentage has reached the indicator of success that is average of student learning concentration based on result of observation >70%, so that action is stopped in cycle II.
