Abstract


Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika antara peserta didik kelas X SMA yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan metakognitif dan pendekatan konvensional, (2) pendekatan yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika diantara pendekatan metakognitif dan pendekatan konvensional pada peserta didik kelas X SMA dalam pembelajaran Gerak Harmonis Sederhana. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimental) dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika antara peserta didik kelas X SMA yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan metakognitif dan pendekatan konvensional. (2) Pendekatan metakognitif lebih efektif dibandingkan pendekatan konvensional dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika peserta didik kelas X SMA dalam pembelajaran Gerak Harmonis Sederhana.

Abstract
This research aims to fine out: (1) differences in the improvement of physics problem solving skill among senior high school X grade students who follow the learning with metacognitive approach and conventional approach, (2) a more effective approach to improve physics problem solving skill between metacognitive and conventional approaches to senior high school X grade students in Simple Harmonic Motion learning.The research is a quasi experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design. The results showed that: (1) There is a difference in the improvement of physics problem solving skill among senior high school X grade students who follow the learning with metacognitive approach and conventional approach. (2) The metacognitive approach is more effective than the conventional approach in improving the physics problem solving skill of senior high school X grade students in Simple Harmonic Motion learning
