PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA BERBASIS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY SOCIETY (STS) DALAM PENINGKATAN PENGUASAAN MATERI DAN PENCAPAIAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PADA PESERTA DIDIK SMA DEVELOPMENT OFPHYSICS LEARNINGDEVICE BASED ON SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY SOCIETY(STS) MODEL TO ENHANCING MATTER OF COMPREHENSION AND CRITICAL THINKINGFOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract


Intisari- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran fisika berbasis model pembelajaran STSyang layak digunakan pada pembelajaran fisika materi pokok usaha dan energi. (2) Mengetahui peningkatan penguasaan materi usaha dan energi peserta didik SMA yang mengikuti pembelajaran fisika berbasis model pembelajaran STS. (3) Mengetahui pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMA yang mengikuti pembelajaran fisika berbasis model pembelajaran STS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan 4D Models.Pada tahap Define, merupakan tahap awal untuk mendefinisikan permasalahan. Tahap Design: merancang produk perangkat pembelajaran berupa silabus, RPP, LKPD dan lembar penilaian. Tahap Develop: Validasi draft produk oleh validator ahli–revisi, ujicoba pembelajaran–revisi. Tahap Desiminate: penyebarluasan perangkat pembelajaran hasil pengembangan kepada ketiga guru SMA N 1 Wates dan menyeminarkan pada Seminar Nasional Quantum 2016 di Universitas Ahmad Dahlan pada tanggal 18 Desember 2016. Analisis data Instrumen divalidasi menggunakan Content Validity Index (CVI), untuk menguji reliabilitas perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan Precentage Agreement (PA), untuk menguji keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan Interjudge Agreement (IJA), dan untuk menguji  peningkatan penguasaan materi menggunakan Standar Gain. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Perangkat pembelajaran fisika berbasis model pembelajaran STS layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran pada pokok bahasan usaha dan energi. (2) Tidak terjadi peningkatan penguasaan materi peserta didik.(3) Pencapaian sikap berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam kategori cukup (10%), sangat baik (16,67%) dan baik (73,33% ).

Abstract-The research is aimed to (1) Produce physics learning device based on STS learning model which is properly used for physics learning specifically on the subject of works and energy. (2) Understand the development of high school students in mastering works and energy subject.  (3) Know the achievement of high school students who follow the physics learning based on STS model in thinking critically.The method of this research is Research & Development (R&D) by using 4D Models. Define stage is an initial stage to define the problem. The design stage is done by developing a preliminary design of physics learning devices such as syllabi, RPP, LKPD, and assessment sheets. The development stage is to validate the draft of the product by an expert validator of revision, trial of learning-revision. The disseminate stage is a process of publishing physics learning device based on STS model to three teachers at SMA N 1 Wates and a publication at the National Seminar Quantum 2016 Ahmad Dahlan University on December 18, 2016. Instrument data analysis was validated using Content Validity Index (CVI), to test the reliability of the learning device by using percentage Agreement (PA), to test the feasibility of learning by using Interjudge Agreement (IJA), and to test the mastery of matter by using Standard Gain.The results obtained from this research are (1) Physics learning device based on STS learning model is feasible to use for learning on the subject of works and energy. (2) There are no positive developments in mastering the subjects by the students. (3) Achievement for thinking critically by the students are categorized within 3 categories i.e. enough (10%), very well (16.67%) and good (73.33%).
