PENGARUH MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN STATUS EKONOMI KELUARGA TERHADAP MINAT SISWA TEKNIK PEMESINAN KELAS XI SMKN 2 DEPOK DALAM MELANJUTKAN PENDIDIKAN KE PERGURUAN TINGGI

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar dan status ekonomi keluarga secara terpisah dan bersama-sama terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 60 siswa kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan SMKN 2 Depok Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi dengan koefisien korelasi (rx₁y) sebesar 0,228 dan T_hitung sebesar 1,781; tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara status ekonomi keluarga terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi dengan koefisien korelasi rx₂y sebesar 0,085 dan T_hitung sebesar 0,651; tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar dan status ekonomi keluarga secara bersama-sama terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi dengan koefisien korelasi rx_(1,2)y sebesar 0,236 dan F_hitung sebesar 1,675.

This research aims to determine the influence of learning motivation and family
economic status separately and together against the interest to continuing
education in the college. This research is an ex-post facto research with
quantitative descriptive research. The research population was 60 students grade
XI Mechanical Engineering 2 Depok VHS Academic Year 2017/2018. The data were
collected by questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques
used simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of
this research are: there is a positive and significant influence of learning motivation
against the interest in continuing education in the college with a correlation coefficient
(rx₁y) is 0.228 and T_count is 1.781; there isn’t significant influence between family
economy status against the interest to continuing education in the college with the
rx₂y correlation coefficient is 0.085 and T_count is 0.651; there isn’t significant
influence between learning motivation and family economic status together against
the interest in continuing in the college with a correlation coefficient of rx _(1.2) y is
0.236 and F_count is1.675.
