EFEKTIVITAS AUTOMATION STUDIO PADA MATA PELAJARAN PNEUMATIK DAN HIDROLIK KELAS XII DI SMK N 2 KLATEN

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui: (1) perbedaan kompetensi kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran teacher oriented dibanding siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan media simulasi automation studio. (2) efektivitas pengggunaan media simulasi automation studio efektif digunakan pada mata pelajaran pneumatik dan hidrolik. Penelitian ini merupakan Quasi Experiment dengan desain penelitian Non Equivalent Group Design. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII Program Keahlian Teknik Instalasi Pemanfaatan Tenaga Listrik SMK N 2 Klaten sejumlah 63 siswa. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, Mann Whittney Test, dan uji Gain.

  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan kompetensi kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran teacher oriented dibanding siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan media simualsi automation studio. Ditinjau dari hasil uji gain aspek kognitif pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol yaitu 0,58:0,53. Sementara hasil uji gain aspek afektif kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol yaitu 0,50:0,29. Uji Mann Whittney Test untuk aspek psikomtorik diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 0,002 < 0,05. (2) penggunaan media simulasi automation studio efektif digunakan pada mata pelajaran pneumatik dan hidrolik dilihat dari gain kelompok eksperimen pada aspek kognitif dan afektif sebesar 0,58 dan 0,50. Gain tersebut menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rerata nilai pretest dan posttest kognitif sebesar 32,65 sedangkan pada aspek afektif terdapat perbedaan rerata nilai pretest dan posttest afektif sebesar 11,05.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to find out : (1) the differences of cognitive competence, affective competence, and psychomotor competence between student who attend teacher oriented and student who attend learning with automation studio simulation media. (2) effectivity of the use of simulation media automation studio used on the subjects of pneumatic and hydraulic.

This research was Quasi-Experiment research with Non Equivalent group design. The subject for this research was 63 student in XII class of Electrical Installation Utilization Program at SMKN 2 Klaten. The data collected using test method and non-test method. The data analysis used descriptive analysis, Mann Whitney Test, and Gain Test.

The result of this research showed that there are differences from cognitive competence, affective competence, and psychomotor competence between student who attend conventional learning and student who attend learning with automation studio simulation media. From the result of gain test in the cognitive aspect, the experiment class and the control class gets the result score of 0.58:0.53. Meanwhile, the gain test result of affective aspect for experiment class and control class are 0.50:0.29. From Mann Whitney Test, the psychomotor aspect gets the t calculation value of 0.002 < 0.05. (2) the simulation media automation studio effectively used in pneumatic and hydraulic subjects seen from the gain experimental group on cognitive and affective aspects get score of 0.58 and 0.50. The gain showing that there are differences between the mean values of the cognitive pretest and posttest about 32.65,  while in the affective aspects there are differences between the mean of affective pretest and posttest value of 11.05.
