PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN ROBOTIKA MENGGUNAKAN MOBILE ROBOT MANIPULATOR BERBASIS KOMUNIKASI DATA WI-FI DENGAN PROTOKOL TCP/IP

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pengembangan robot manipulator, (2) mengetahui unjuk kerja robot manipulator, (3) mengetahui tingkat kelayakan robot manipulator, (4) mengetahui pencapaian hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata kuliah Praktik Robotika. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development dengan model ADDIE. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes berupa pretest dan posttest. Pengujian kelayakan produk dilakukan oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Mekatronika yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah praktik robotika. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) pengembangan sistem komunikasi robot manipulator menggunakan protokol TCP/IP client-server, algoritma pengolahan citra digital menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu thresholding, gaussian blur, dilation, erosion, dan circle hough transform, (2) aplikasi server robot manipulator dapat berkomunikasi dengan aplikasi client pada PC pengguna dengan persentase keberhasilan 100%, robot manipulator dapat menentukan arah objek melalui kamera dengan mengukur posisi koordinat x, y, dan radius objek berdasarkan pemetaan matriks gambar 8 x 6, robot manipulator dapat mendeteksi objek dengan jarak maksimum 1 meter. (3) tingkat kelayakan robot manipulator berdasarkan penilaian oleh ahli media mendapatkan persentase 88,8% dengan kategori “sangat layak”, penilaian oleh ahli materi mendapatkan persentase 83,13% dengan kategori “sangat layak”, dan penilaian oleh peserta didik mendapatkan persentase 85 % dengan kategori “sangat layak”, (4) hasil penilaian pretest mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 30,35, sedangkan hasil penilaian posttest mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 60,71 yang berarti penggunaan robot manipulator sebagai media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 30,35.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) know the development of robot manipulator, (2) know the performance of robot manipulator, (3) know the level of appropriateness of robot manipulator, (4) know the learning achievement outcomes students in Practice robotics courses. This research is the kind of Research and Development with the ADDIE model. Data collection method using questionnaires and test namely pretest and posttest. Product feasibility testing is conducted by media experts, material experts, and students of mechatronic engineering education who studying robotics practices. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis. The results of this research are: (1) the development of the communication system of the robot manipulator using TCP/IP protocol client-server, digital image processing algorithm using several methods namely thresholding, gaussian blur, dilation, erosion, and circle hough transform, (2) the server application of robot manipulator can communicate with the client application on PC users with percentage of 100%, robot manipulator can determine the direction of the object through the camera by measuring the position of the coordinates x, y and radius of the object based on the mapping of the matrix picture 8 x 6, robot manipulator can detect objects with maximum distance 1 meters. 3) the feasibility of robot manipulator based on media experts assessment get percentage of 88.8 % with "very worthy" category. Furthermore, material experts assessment get percentage of 83,13 % with "very worthy" category, and students assessment get percentage of 85 % with "very worthy" category, (4) the results of pretest assessment get average value of 30,35, meanwhile the results posttest assessment get average value of  60,71 that means the using of robot manipulator as learning media can increase average value of 30,35.
